Privacy Policy
HYBRED is a system that allows you to create tiles of your songs, notes, images, videos and voice memos and use them to build albums of your creative process. It is a platform that hosts your schema for how you move through your personal and professional lives. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

1. Introduction
HYBRED ("HYBRED," "we," "us," or "our") operates the HYBRED mobile application and the www.hybred.livewebsite (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the Service.
The short version
HYBRED does not sell your personal information, does not show ads, does not use advertising trackers, and does not use your content to build advertising profiles. We collect what we need to run the app and keep your albums yours.
By using HYBRED, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account & Identity
• Full name
• Phone number (used to sign in)
• Designation / role you enter
• A favourite song you select (title & artist)
• An account identifier for your profile
Content You Create
• Photos and images you upload
• Voice memos / audio recordings
• PDF documents you attach
• Album and tile titles, notes and metadata
Contacts (limited)
When you share an album by message, you can pick a recipient from your contacts. Only that chosen recipient's name is sent to our servers to create the share.
We do not upload or store your full address book.
Usage & Authentication
• A once-per-day signal that you opened the app, tied to your account, so we can measure active usage.
• One-time passwords (OTP) sent to your phone to verify sign-in.
What we do NOT collect
- —Location data — HYBRED does not track or collect your location.
- —Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data.
- —Biometric or face-recognition data.
- —Payment or financial information (HYBRED is free, with no in-app purchases).
- —Your email address — sign-in is by phone number, not email.
3. How We Use Your Information
- —Provide the Service: create your account, store your albums and tiles, and sync your content across sessions.
- —Sharing: generate share links and, when you choose to, send an album to a contact you select.
- —Account management: authenticate you by phone + OTP and keep your profile up to date.
- —Safety & integrity: operate reporting and blocking tools and act on content that violates our Community Guidelines.
- —Product measurement: understand active usage (e.g. daily app opens) to improve HYBRED.
- —Legal: comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.
5. Third-Party Services
HYBRED relies on the following third parties to operate. They process data only to provide their service to us.
Clerk — Authentication
Manages phone-number sign-in and one-time passwords (OTP), and stores your account identity.
Amazon Web Services (S3) — Storage
Securely stores the photos, videos, audio and files you upload to your tiles.
Railway — Backend Hosting
Hosts the HYBRED backend API that powers your albums, tiles and sharing.
Vercel — Frontend Hosting
Hosts the HYBRED marketing website (hybred.live).
Spotify & Apple Music — Song search
Used to search for songs so you can attach track details (title, artist, artwork) to your profile or tiles.
Giphy — GIF search
Used to search and display GIFs (filtered to a PG rating) for album covers and content.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own advertising or profiling.
6. Device Permissions
HYBRED asks for permission before accessing device features. You can grant or revoke these in your device settings.
- —Camera: to capture photos directly into your tiles.
- —Microphone: to record voice memos and audio notes onto your tiles.
- —Photo library: to upload images and set album covers.
- —Contacts: to let you pick a recipient when sharing an album (only the chosen contact's name is used).
7. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual content in the app at any time, or delete your entire account.
- —Delete your account in-app: open HYBRED, go to Settings, and tap "Delete Account," then confirm. This permanently removes your profile and associated content.
- —Request deletion via the web: see our Delete Account page, or message 929-791-4140.
After deletion, your personal data is removed from our active systems. Limited information may be retained only where required to comply with law or to prevent fraud and abuse, and is deleted once no longer needed.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Access & correct
View and edit your profile, albums and tiles directly in the app.
Delete
Delete individual content, or your whole account, from Settings.
Control permissions
Grant or revoke camera, microphone, photos and contacts access in device settings.
Request a copy
Contact us at support@hybred.live to request a copy of your data.
9. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) for data moving between the app, our servers and our providers, and access controls that limit who can reach your data.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Protect access to your phone and report any suspicious activity to support@hybred.live.
10. Children's Privacy
HYBRED is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact support@hybred.live and we will delete it.
11. International Data Transfers
HYBRED and its service providers process your information in the United States. If you access HYBRED from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country. We rely on appropriate safeguards and require our providers to protect your data in line with this policy.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of HYBRED after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
